Keri's Wedding and San Francisco

Emily, Abby and I all left at the same time

Emily's aunt was an incredible hostess and made up homemade oatmeal with brown sugar and blueberries. It was fabulous!

Both Ashley's weren't able to make it to the sealing but we missed them!

What a gorgeous bride and beautiful friends!

I have never been so happy for anyone. She was stunning!

Rachel Willardson took us around town and was an amazing tour guide. We also got to meet up with Devynne which was the last time I got to see her before she leaves on her mission!

Ghirardelli was a must see.

Apparently I'm a passionate kisser!

Ashley and I drove up to Lakeport for the second reception which was gorgeous. I was the only single young woman there so I caught the bouquet!

When I Have Gown a Foot or Two...

I cannot believe the day actually arrived that Hannah left for her mission. I was fortunate enough to pick Hannah up from the airport in Salt Lake and escort her down to the MTC. She looked absolutely stunning and seemed more emotionally ready and prepared than any other person I've seen.

We stopped by Grandpa's for a goodbye. It was so sweet.

Following tradition, we made a final Taco Bell run.

And of course we had to have an open mouth shot.

We drove into the MTC and Hannah knew a few people just within the 2 minutes that it took us to get from the security guard to the parking spot. She's ridiculous! Hannah was so happy and excited that it wasn't hard to say goodbye. I won't admit that I haven't hard a really hard time since she left but at the moment I was just so excited for her! She's going to do an amazing job and bless so many people's lives! LOVE HER!

Keri's "Bridal Shower"

A few days before Keri took off for California we all met up in Salt Lake and went to dessert. It was our version of a bridal shower. Lame, I know. But it was so great to just get together and talk. Keri was one of the most calm and collected brides I have ever seen. Everything is so logical for her and it was awesome to see someone so prepared and ready for marriage. I hope to be like that when I'm engaged!

I love having a sharing buddy!

Visits to Salt Lake

I have been fortunate enough to have really good friends that live in Salt Lake. So each time I go do I not only have people to see but a place to stay.
We had dinner at the Milky Way, a gourmet grilled cheese place. So fun!

Abby and I decided to go geo caching up Milcreek Canyon. It was a utter FAILURE! We located one on the GPS that we wanted to find and then set out looking for it. Who knew that a GPS was so hard to use!

I got attacked by stickers.

We ended up scaling a mountain...

and bushing-whacking it all the way up and down. It was awful! And we didn't find the geo cache! It was a huge let down!

Abby mission president gave us tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert that night which was a lot of fun so at least the day ended on a high note.

God Bless America

Anyone who knows me, understands that I absolutely love the 4th of July. It is in the top 3 of my favorite holidays. It so fun; the friends, parades, BBQ, weather, and fireworks! It doesn't get much better! So this 4th of July I went down to Provo to celebrate which was an absolute blast. I couldn't have planned a better weekend myself.
Parade on University Ave.

BBQ at Foxwood Apartments - We were in charge of the fruit salad!

Stadium of Fire! I would have to argue that there's no better scene that this: the Provo temple, the Y and the mountains, LaVell Edwards Stadium; and thousands of people celebrating America.

I went to my first drive in movie. It was a blast!

We went to Salt Lake for Markie Palmer's wedding reception and went to Hires afterwards.

The weekend ended with an awesome dance party at Park Place! Love these girls!

1st Semester of Graduate School - Check

Well I have officially finished my first semester of graduate school and it was quite the experience. They split it up into two sections: the first month was just class and the second was just working with clients.

We met everyday in the same room from 9-4 with an hour lunch. Within a month we had 3 oral presentations, 3 papers, and 7 quizzes. Needless to say, they were long days but we got to know each other really well. They are an awesome cohort and I'm so glad that they will be here for the next two years!
Semester closing social at Dr. Ron and Sandy Gillam's house. It was a blast!
