The Temple

It is amazing how the Lord blesses us when we follow his commandments.
When I was in elementary school, I went on a trip with my dad to Washington DC. One evening we drove up to the temple and took a walk. My dad had brought an Almond Joy and while splitting it he talked to me about the significance of a temple marriage. It was at that time that I decided I wanted to marry a righteous man in the temple.
Taylor and I have been able to attend the temple multiple times and it has been my favorite. Never have I been happier or felt more at peace. I'm so grateful for Taylor and for the gospel in allowing us to be together and create an eternal family.

DC Wanderings

We have had a blast wandering around the city. We couldn't have asked for a better location and situation. It has been a blast to explore the city together and discover a new city.

A Few Firsts

We had a lot of firsts within the first week of being married.

Our first flight together. It was nice to have someone to fall asleep on. Husbands are great! The flight out to DC was great and we were super excited to start out this new adventure together.

We had our first birthday together. We found an Italian restaurant here in the city which was fabulous.

We got individual mini cheesecakes to celebrate. So good!

The Best Day So Far

I have never really been good at expressing my feelings and I cannot even begin to imagine how to express all the feelings that I experienced on the day of my wedding; excitement, nervousness, joy, peacefulness, stress, understanding, anxiety, spiritually up lifted, grateful, and so much more. Since my words won't do much, I just wanted to share some of my favorite pictures.

The Lind Family

The Christensen Family

These girls are my favorite!

We truly missed Hannah but she's doing an amazing work!
