A New Chapter

For the first time ever, Taylor and I are both out of school and working full time. It's been such a fun transition for us both. Coming home is exciting because the night is totally open. Once we're home from work it's time to play. The idea that there isn't a homework assignment, a test to study for, or a group project is a strange idea but pretty easy to get used to.

Taylor accepted a job with Edge Homes as an estimator. He goes through each of their floor plans and prices out every single detail. Who knew that a house has so many small pieces and every piece costs something. Taylor loves going to work. He loves who he works with and what he does.

I accepted a job at a charter school for kids with Autism called Spectrum Academy. They are in their second year at the Pleasant Grove campus and it has been quite the experience. I am working in the middle/high school. It's been quite the experience. Imagine a middle school and all the awkwardness of transitioning but add Autism on top of it. We have goals covering articulation, social language, voicing, resonance, and grammar. They are incredible students and I have learned SO much.

We are loving this new chapter in our lives!

It's been FAR too long since I've blogged last so I just want to post some of my favorite pictures.

One of my favorite things about Taylor is that he has adopted my nieces and nephews as his own. They love him! One day as I was driving to work my phone started to explode with texts between Carolyn and Taylor. The following pictures were included...

We spent our last summer in Logan. It was bitter sweet. We absolutely love Logan and we soaked it up for all it's worth. Here are some of my favorite adventures from that summer.

We did a roommate camp out! What great people!

Our Sarager Reunion at Tober was definitely a highlight. It was a great opportunity to get to know cousins and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

Salt Lake Bees game (I had to represent my Rockies!)

Hannah came to visit...

Deer Valley Concert series with Anne...

This was a summer filled with great friends. We are so grateful for such amazing friends!

Overall, it was an incredible ending to our Logan experience.
