Passions

I consider myself as a person with few passions. I love listening to other people talk about their passions and often wonder to myself why I wasn't blessed with more drive and strong emotions. I was thinking on this topic this last week and realized that I do have two passions in life... cereal and the state of Colorado. I love them!

First off, I love cereal because of the many different flavors and kinds that are available. You could have a complete day's worth of meals just by eating cereal and you would never get bored. There are the sugary flavors, the healthy kinds, and the between kinds. I often eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast and then sometimes a mid-day snack and if I'm feeling really risky I'll have one at night before I go to bed. (That's just on occasion.)

Then there is Colorado. I have to admit that it is the best state in the whole U.S. and I've been to a lot of different states. It has it all - the seasons are just the right length and they don't get too cold or too hot. Then there is Denver, which is big enough to get all the major shows and concerts but not too big that it's annoying. Only an hour or two outside of the city you can get into some of the most beautiful mountains. Yes, the eastern side of the Rockies are much prettier. You can get it all in Colorado and I love it!

  1. I know what you mean...I don't feel like I have a ton of passions either.

But, while perhaps sounding cliche, you have a passion for the gospel and for your family. You get excited talking about both of those things.
And they're good things to get passionate about.

What am I passionate about? I think I'll blog about this if you don't mind...
